Only like it was Yesterday

1. Hi everybody,
   
   Just wanted to post a note wishing all of you a great time this
   season. Hope all your tricks are amazing.
   
   The other day someone asked me if it was true that I could bend a
   spoon with my mind. I said yes. They pulled out a spoon and
   challenged me. So I took the spoon and concentrated upon it. I held
   it by the handle with the bowl end up. I concentrated upon it some
   more.
   
   I chatted with them... told them about some of my many strange
   exploits. Then, I concentrated upon the spoon again. My face was
   turning a little red, but I kept concentrating, and concentrating.
   
   Suddenly, the bowl end of the spoon literally wilted over. You could
   have heard a pin drop. People were gathered all around. There was
   certainly a lot of wimpering, shouting and general commotion over the
   spoon. I began to feel bad for the spoon.
   
   The owner of the spoon took it back from me and held it with
   apparently great reverence. As everyone departed, there was lots of
   talk and description of what I had done. And they held the bent spoon
   out to their friends as proof.
