Magical Season

Here we are... it's October. The Season of Magical Entertainment is filled with
exciting presentations of mystery, flourish, humor, and the impossible.

Looking for magic... recently, the space shuttle Atlantis made a giant delivery to the
International Space Station. They installed a large solar appliance, and returned
safely to earth. It was spectacular.
Just today, I made a giant delivery, too. Folks wouldn't want it to be described here, but most would agree that it was spectacular. And... I feel much better, now.

A few days ago, it came to light that sun fish are being used to detect the presence of
deadly toxins in our water supplies. Here, I'll expose a magical secret... this very
type of observation is exactly what magicians use in one form or another to prepare a
magical performance. I hope I don't get in trouble putting this secret in my blog.

As far as the sun fish are concerned, they really are more sensitive than I previously
thought. My son farted on the bank of Hop Brook Lake the other day... a half dozen sun
fish died and floated to the surface. It was amazing! We felt bad, though. But, on
the bright side, we were able to put out the small grass fire quickly enough so as to
not attract any nearby hasmat team.

Well, there's a little magic to tide you over for the first of october. Let me
recommend that you see The Illusionist as soon as you can. It has a great story, lots
of magic, and it will surprise you with a superb ending.
