Season of Magic Tricks

The approach of the fall season is upon us even though storm Ernesto is raining outside. The performance book has been selected and arranged for this year, filled with demonstrations of the impossible, astonishment, flourish, humor, and mystery. All I can say is that the magic surrounds us.

Recently, it has come to my attention that in the Daniel Boone National Forest, Ky. the 20 foot tall slippery elm has fallen victim to thieves who tear off its bark for profit in the herbal remedy market. These trees will certainly die. I can't help wondering ... can I get a magic trick out of this? More importantly, does Davey Crocket get a forest?

The other day, I ordered some very cool magic from my friends over at Trickshop.com where I had the pleasure of exchanging a round of emails with the owner. We settled our business quickly and I was impressed at how personal the attention that I received was. It would be to your advantage to surf over to Trickshop.com and check out their products.

Let me close with my horoscope predictions for the year 2029...

Asteroid Apophus strikes the Earth ... civilization comes to an abrupt end ... more news shortly.

But, before that happens Castro finally dies at age 112; Cuban cigars can now be imported legally, but President Chelsea Clinton has banned all smoking.

And, France pleads for global help after being taken over by Jamaica.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a magical season.
