In the Magic World

Life often serves up a good mystery every once in a while. Strange things happen that defy explanation. Incidents and events that make us wonder how much we really know about the world.
A few days ago, a shaman from Ecuador was seen to be on a tour of all 12 World Cup venues to banish evil spirits before the start of the tournament on June 9.
I wonder if this shaman could banish the evil spirits that are causing spike in gas prices.
"Excuse me, sir, how much would you charge to set the gas prices back to 1990 prices?" "250,000 Sucres, a real bargain for sure."
"What? That's highway robbery. Worse the gas prices themselves. Worse, even, than the robbery of the US citizens by US senators who get paid enormous money, benefits, and priviledge only to do nothing while in office. Some don't even vote on issues. But, I digress."
"My friend. 250,000 sucres is about 10 US dollars, give or take."
"Oh, ok then, can you take the job?"
"No, but thank you for your interest."
Speaking of "cups", China recently has reported that their women have been buying more and more size d, and e-cup bras. Things are perking up for the Chinese... Chinese laundry, Chinese food, and now Chinese d-cup bras.

This past monday night, a psychic Joe Power aired a seance on tv and claimed to get in contact with the late John Lennon who gave a message of "peace" to the world. The seance was aired on pay per view. I don't know how large the viewing audience was, but the income from a similarly broadcast seance earlier netted about 8 million dollars.
New seances could be conducted to contact such luminaries as Elvis, Harry Blackstone Jr., or Rodney Dangerfield. This is an idea whose time has arrived.
-
A couple of days ago, David Copperfield was robbed following one of his shows in Palm Beach. He didn't have enough magic at the time to ward off the danger.
-
Finally, in case anyone isn't aware of this by now, magician David Blaine will be on tv again on May 8th. His latest stunt will be to be locked in an aquarium of water for a week, to be released on the night of the broadcast during the live broadcast. He will be in New York City.
His choices included ridding New York of rats, but that would be taking an oft' recurring theme away from David Letterman which would be frowned upon. So, Blaine will be living like a fish instead.

Actually, I saw a bit of magic recently. Went to my local gas station to see that the gas price for regular went DOWN by two cents. I'm getting my gas for 2.94 a gallon now. NO I will NOT tell where this gas station is... haha!

*waves his hands in the air and disappears in a puff of smoke*

Ok, Ob, now wave your hands in the air and make the prices go down to 2.89/gal. and we'll be talking REAL magic, indeed.
